What, when they start running reruns as a prelude to the show's returning
with new episodes, are they going to rearrange the old episodes to tell a
different story?

ABC is not broadcasting any reruns of Lost anymore. The time slot is
telenovels...

Uh oh. I can see it now:
- Last year people complained to ABC because they were sick of the
reruns.
- And now this year, people like Michael and Eva (who enjoy reruns to
better understand the story) will complain to ABC that they're annoyed
there are no reruns.

episode in February, with highlights from past episodes.

I'll bet they will have a recap episode in February to refresh
everyone's memory. (But it won't be in the Lost time slot; ABC learned
the hard way not to do that anymore)
