Stan Brown...
This one was supposed to be a rerun, but if so I somehow missed it
the first time around.

Nancy2...
I don't know where you read "rerun," because it wasn't listed as such
anywhere I saw it. I looked forward to it - thought Roseanne was
pretty good.

kjw...
This is the first time I had seen her in years. She lost A LOT of
weight.

Nancy2...
I believe at the "height" of her weight loss, she was thinner still,
but has possibly gained a little of it back. Nevertheless, she looks
good, especially with her naturally gray hair - makes her face look
younger.

I understand her new standup act is good, but she's gone blond for it.

This is November, dude - sweeps, doncha know.

SoHillsGuy...
No, it was a fresh episode. They wouldn't have started the first night
of the November sweeps with a rerun. Funny episode, but I thought the
woman's "reconversion" happened way too quickly, though.

me...
Fresh episode? This isn't the WB ;)
Anyway, The online guides showed this one was supposed to air last week,
against the World Series, but they ended up showing the one where Joy
stole the appliance truck with the guy inside. I guess they decided to hold
this
one off for this week instead.

(I always wondered, if the new stuff on WB was "fresh", does that mean it
was a stale network when they'd show repeats? :)

theresa...
"There goes 'The Lord Whisperer.' Three decades I've been doing
this and all I've got is a heat rash in the shape of Palestine."

"Convoy, Convoy."
"Convent, Convent."

Nancy2...
And didn't that little girl look odd....like a clone of Christina
Ricci.

seapig...
Given how little time they have to work with, I thought they did a nice
job of getting it all in, as she went from nasty to nice, back to
nasty, and finally back to nice.

And, Roseanne did do a good job. Who would have guessed she'd be
believable as a nun?

I have to say, it's one of the best I've seen so far, with lots of
great lines.

"Run, Mr. Turtle! Get help!
"[pause]
"Faster!"

ranck...
Yes, I liked that line from Randy, but
my favorite line last night was, "I say we torch a sheep."

Clifford Blau...
I completely lost it when Randy said they should take her to Sea World
and get a whale to swallow her.

Curse you, Don Tickles, Notary Public!

Joy is just so totally without scruples, or empathy, yet
upbeat and bubbly.

Ronnie...
Good, but my favorite was the ex-wife complaining that "The Subaru's
got ants again." Genius.

This was one of the best few "Earl" episodes ever, and definitely
the best out of the last several. I've been favoring "The Office"
over "Earl" lately, but "Earl" took the prize this week.

That little orphan girl was priceless, too. Both funny *and*
surprisingly heartbreaking.

mchary...
We need a Dexter crossover.

We also need a Grey's ANatomy House crossover.

Barry Margolin...
My favorite was something Randy said about an argument with a grilled
cheese. Does someone remember the exact quote?

Bill Ranck
Blacksburg, Va.

theresa...
The doll without a head and the girl who lived in a drainpipe
until the wild dogs chased her out.

ranck...
That girl needed to swap stories with Catalina instead of Earl.

~consul...
She had a good dialogue with Earl as well.

"Have you ever had to leave your home after being chased by stray dogs?"
And Earl looks at her, pauses, and says "I don't want to make this into a competition."
And I just laughed out loud because you know he had that look in his eye that he was gonna
say that "Yes ... yes I have."

Agent Smith...
Yeah, they stole that from James Cameron.

Yet even while being very funny, it was reflective too, raising the
point that Earl's amends can sometimes do more harm than good. I
think this is the first episode that's made that point.

theresa...
"Citation! $20! Well, there goes your book money for the next
decade..."

"Showeth Thy hindquarters to the mailman."
