EGK...
Anyone watching this or pick it up on DVD? I'm just starting to get them
via Blockbuster online rentals. I've watched most of the first disk and
they hold up pretty well over all. It was always meant to be campy and the
fact it's set in the old west probably helps it. So far episode 3 with the
introduction of Dr Loveless is the best. Talk about a blast from the past.

Anim8rFSK...
Yeah, it's good fun. Unfortunately Robert Conrad's introductions are
REALLY annoying, as I've been watching it with somebody who hasn't seen
the show before, and the intros are almost 100% spoiler, so we're having
to mute 'em and go back for 'em at the end. But it holds up, there's
appealing actors, good cinematography, and certainly we're getting our
moneys worth on the set.

Uniblab...
Conrad sounds he's 90 years old in those intros.

Anim8rFSK...
yeah. I was trying not to be unkind, but his voice is really gone there.
I'm hoping he just happened to have a sore throat when they recorded
them.

The sound quality is awful too though; I'd bet they weren't done in a
studio at all, but on a little portable deck in somebody's kitchen.

Uniblab...
I bet you're right. From what I've read, he's not in good health these days,
which is too bad - 71 is not that old.

Jude Cormier...
The accident in 2003 left him quite changed.
