So, what do you think was in the containers with the biohazard
symbol? Sarin? Anthrax? I'm not sure what the range of materials
is that it's used for. I presume bacteria and viruses, but also
chemicals? What else?

I'm pretty sure that in reality, nerve gas agents are easily
absorbed through the skin, so their donning respiratory gear
was an ineffective precaution. That said, why should reality
enter the picture?
