Here are some wrestling news items for you:

- World Wrestling Entertainment has denounced a reissue of a 1999
study linking wrestling to real life violence. According to Vince
McMahon, "We regret that this seven year old junk science was
re-issued. It was junk science then, and it's junk science now. It took
seven years to get someone to actually read it, and it hasn't even been
subjected to a peer review." J.R. and the King mentioned the survey on
Raw.

- Bill Goldberg has signed a 90-day holding contract with Spike TV,
and might even be close to signing to TNA. The contract means he can't
appear on any other TV network during the 90 days. (source:

- Hulk Hogan turned 53 yesterday.

- Torrie Wilson's FHM magazine cover has been edited from newstands
at Grand Central Station in New York (source: lordsofpain.net)

"Edited"? The 'LOP' web site reports the FHM cover was "censored"
with strips of white paper. Presumably, you have to purchase the
magazine to remove the paper masking the cover content.
It has happened before.

IIRC, a similar thing is done with Playboy magazine in some locations.
