David...
And speaking of funny, underappreciated shows... TBS currently airs
"Newsradio" weekdays at 1 pm.

Major ChrisB...
also season 1 to 4 on the shelf of my bedroom on dvd with delightfully
hilarious audio comenteries

Anthony D. Langford...
While I agree with you on Nobody's Watching, which I found very funny,
I never 'got' Newsradio. But then I felt that way about other long
running sitcoms like Taxi and Night Court.

Taylor...
I wish people would except the fate of current sitcoms that follow the
'Newsradio' lead:

There's a select few that are MEANT to have a small-but-loyal following
and only last 5 years max. because of creativeness.

- 'Scrubs' (sorry, but it's true)
- 'The Office' (ditto)
- 'My Name Is Earl' (you REALLY don't want to hear that one! lol)

Taylor...
- 'Just Shoot Me'

Jude Cormier...
shockingly, that one is still in local syndication in my market!

I had a couple more, but I forget what they are. Real good candidates,
too.

'Newsradio' daily.

Anim8rFSK...
NewsRadio is as good as I remembered, which is a rare treat.

Mr. Stabby...
I think it comes on Nick or TVLand too, maybe on weekends. It really
does hold up well, of course it's not that old either.

I loved the show, until Phil Hartman died, then it sort of lost it's
appeal.

Anim8rFSK...
Yes. That last season needs to be disavowed.

Goro...
Agreed. Newsradio was one of the few sitcoms that i really made a
point of watching. BBC's COUPLING was another. FUTURAMA another. and
CURB used to be one.
