David...
They're advertising "Knights of Prosperity" and "In Case of Emergency"
as coming to Wednesdays in January, which I'm guessing will be to 8
(though it'd be great if they'd do something unique and put comedies
on at 10).

Looks like all these shows are being hung out to dry with "Dancing"

Obveeus...
Why is Knights of Prosperity even getting a chance to come back?

David...
Come back? This is the first time it'll be airing.

Obveeus...
My bad. I was thinking of 'Four Kings'.

David...
It hasn't even premiered yet and you're already insulting yet another
show I love :-(

Obveeus...
This is going to be another love 'em (you) and leave 'em (cancelled show)
relationship. Don't get too attached.

David...
You're just lucky "Girlfriends" is on a net-let where no one cares how
it does.

Obveeus...
No. If I was 'lucky', Kelsey Grammer would have had real pull for his show
and he would have gotten it on NBC. Then, the NBC lineup would have
something other than mediocre slapstick.

David...
I watched all 2 hours last week and saw no pratfalls or anyone getting
hit in the face with a pie. Or is that what you mean by "mediocre"?

Obveeus...
Mediocre slapstick is how I would define the 'Kramer' contribution to
Seinfeld. The rest of the show was comedy. Kramer was mediocre slapstick.

Brian Thorn...
Huh? KoP is the show previously billed as "Let's Rob Mick Jagger"
isn't it?

In Case of Emergency...will a Scrubs clone fly when the real scrubs can't
even get good ratings?

Brian Thorn...
Well, there is a chance if ICoE is, unlike Scrubs, actually funny... I
know Scrubs has its fans, but the show has never done anything for me.
The few times I've resampled it, Scrubs seems to be devolving further
into "Drew Carey" type weirdness, and its fans inexplicably complain
that no one is watching.

Of course, my favorite comedy right now is "The Class", so what do I
know... :-)

I don't know about ICoE, but I'll probably give it a try.

returning in March and "According To Jim" and "George Lopez" still on

Ronnie Bateman...
Have any of you ever met someone who has seen an episode of these
shows? ;)

David B...
Two actually...my mother and brother.

David...
I think "Jim" is decent (and Courtney Thorne-Smith is a looker. Every
little bit helps). I usually download it and watch it late at night or
on a slow weekend. I thought "George" was okay in the beginning but for
whatever reason I've lost the desire to watch it years ago.

evwill...
"George Lopez" had a certain edge (by broadcast family sitcom
standards) early on. The last year of episodes was very cookie-cutter
though.

"According to Jim" was and is hopeless.

Everett W.

I like sitcoms and am much more lenient towards them, whereas I hold
everything else to a higher standard. Looking at the ratings, it seems
that most people are the opposite.
