Very best "logo" or "bug"

Walter Traprock...
I can't help but notice that MTV has no logo/bug whenever I go
past it.

Rhino...
I wish all the other broadcasters would immitate that!

I like documentaries and documentaries often include segments with
subtitles. This happens mostly when the person being interviewed does not
speak English and sometimes when he speaks English with a significant
accent; in the latter case, the subtitles are to help those who are having
trouble following the speaker.

The problem is that the logo/bug often overlaps part of the subtitles and
you lose a few words from each sentence. That really hurts my ability to
enjoy the program.

Doug Elrod...
Along the same lines, the TV-Rating icon in the upper left can be
annoying.
On "Cash Cab" it has been landing exactly on top of the host's face as
he
intros the program. You'd think that they'd catch on, but *nooooooo*.
:-)

(At what stage of production does this get inserted, anyway?)

Very late, probalby at air time, and it's likely automatic. God knows
there also may be size and location requirements for it.

Now, if only it had some programming to go along with it.

Doug Elrod...
That *is* a great bug. One memorable one that I remember was
in the early days of "World News Now" on ABC, when bugs were
just coming into fashion. For a while they had an intern hold up an
"ABC" logo on a stick in the lower right of the frame. It was amusing
when they changed camera angles, because it took a little while for
him to crawl around to the new position.

Anim8rFSK...
sun of a gun

just flipped over and it's bug free

on the other hand, I have NO interest in watching 'cheyenne'

jayembee...
I'm assuming you aren't referring to the Clint Walker Western. :-)
