"House" writers need to be careful

Rich...
The last couple eps. have seen a slight change in the dynamic.
House has appeared more strident and less comically manic.
This could backfire on them. Also, this latest ep. lacked any
real "build up" so the tension was absent.

trotsky...
Why do you watch shows that are so obviously over your head?

Rich...
To learn?

Justin Pate...
Yeah, the last couple of episodes just don't seem to be up to the
optimal level of the series.

Jack Bauer's Spunky Sidekick, Ian J. Ball...
And yet the last 2-3 episode have been *far* better than the dreck we
got in the first half of season #2.

They aren't funny enough, and they seem to be messing with the dynamics
of the show too much.

Jack Bauer's Spunky Sidekick, Ian J. Ball...
The one element that has been consistently missing/underutilized in
season #2 are the 'clinic' scenes - those were the ones that provided
the biggest laughs in season #1.

If they stuck with the same format as they had to begin with, I would
still be enjoying the show. Yeah, some people would find that boring

Jack Bauer's Spunky Sidekick, Ian J. Ball...
I generally agree with this - this show went seriously off-track with
the introduction of Stacey. Only now, with her gone, are they starting
to get back on track...

Ian (...though the writing still isn't as smart as in season #1. I'm
hoping they'll get back to that level of intelligence in season #3.)

after a while, but in my opinion, as long as they keep House funny and
continue being generous with the humor, no format can get tired.

Keep House funny. Don't ease up on that. Making things to serious is
not a sign of "growth", but rather deterioration.
