Relative to other interests (like movies, internet, eating out with
friends), where would you rank TV?
.
I'd put it in #2:
1) Eating out with friends
2) TV (including dvds/tapes)
3) The net
4) Videogames
.
.
.
( ) Movies (I've lost all interest in going to theaters.)

1- video games
2- TV
3- The net
4- Eating out with friends.
It's not that I'm anti-social, it's just how many times are you going to be
able to 1) infiltrate a top secret military base or 2) see someone get
kicked in the nuts or 3) see a chimp drag his finger across his anus, smell
it, then fall out of a tree?
Eating a meal while your friends drone on about their boring day ain't high
on my list....

Priorities (not necessarily actual total time spent):
1) Anything social (including movies with others)
2) Outdoor/hobby type stuff
3) Appointment TV
4) Video games
5a) Casual TV
5b) The net
6) DVDs
I use the net more for information than entertainment, I guess. When
I'm at my computer, though, the TV next to me is almost always on...
Sometimes, DVDs move up to 4 or 5, bumping the others down, but not
much recently.
