Why are these two considered symbols of beauty?

Cruise has a huge Semitic nose. In some angles, he looks like a bird
of prey or a puffin.

I ain't much of a movie buff and saw him only once, but I thought it
was a sweet potato he was eating.

Aniston looks like another run-of-the-mill cute coed. Nothing
special.

They embody a combination of good-looking qualities rather than
"classic" good looks. Tom Cruise has "boyish" good looks, and
Jennifer Aniston is equally cute and beautiful. ( Jennifer's parents
are Greek, so it may also be the ethnic mix that makes their looks
more interesting than a plain Aryan God or Goddess.)

What ethnic mix? I can't see any "Greek" in her. Looks like a
dime-a-dozen WASP cutie you see everywhere.

Nothing wrong with *that* ya understand but it's hard to see where
she's special.

Cruise's nose is better since he got it fixed. Take a look at him in
"Risky Business"
then in later films.
Aniston's problem now is that her jaw has become too long looking.

I wonder, though, if anyone told them that "Suri" can mean "pointy
nose" in some obscure Indian dialect. LOL.
