If my parents are any indication, some Idol fans skip the first few
episodes, waiting for the "real" talent to show up. And yet, AI still
did this well. Insanity.

Any predictions for tonight's ratings?

Can Deal or No Deal and Criminal Minds top 10million viewers and put any
dent in the second hour of American Idol?
Are ABC comedies going to average over 5 million?
Will Armed & Famous or Friday Night Lights top 4 million?
Can Beauty and the Geek top 3 million?
Can One Tree Hill top 2 million?

It looks bleak for the Idol competition...and those of us that aren't
interested in it.

and the CW. Household rating and share is listed first, followed by
total number of viewers (in millions) and adult 18-49 rating and share.

Obviously, Fox's American Idol is back with a vengeance. But also worth
noting is how well CBS' NCIS stood up opposite it.
