I found out after watching it that it was the season finale, and my
first thought was "Thank god *that's* over."

If you think Monk is such a bad show, why did you spend an hour watching it?

It used to be a good show, and I'm a fan of Shaloub. There's always the
possibility that it won't suck. Unfortunately, like most of the
episodes since Schramm left, "Mr Monk Goes To A Rock Concert" did not
meet that expectation.

Yeah, because contrary to what another poster here said, the series
hasn't always been about Adrian and his love for Trudy but about Adrian
and his non-love for Schramm. I never liked it for that reason and
always assumed Schramm was fired because her character was too Nanny
and the Professor. IMO she was the only interesting thing about Monk.
