I was just reading that ABC offers in most programs dubbed into
Spannish via SAP and closed captioned via Closed Caption channel 2.
I'm up here in Canada and if we get a SAP feed it is normally for
Descriptive Video.

Someone told me recently that about 25% of Canadian shows have DV.
You folks are way ahead of us on that.

Where you are, what type of different audio feed do you get on your SAP?

Global will do some descriptive video (DV) content on some of their
popular series like 'The Simpsons', as Fox already does along w/ shows
like (the now-defunct) 'Malcolm In The Middle'. I believe CBC Newsworld
still does (?)/use to use their SAP channel for NewsPrint Canada.
EuroNews uses 6 or 7 SAP signals to read the news in different
languages like Russian and French. Since EuroNews never uses on-air
anchors and limited chyrons, you only have to use voice-over readers
speaking different language to be able to multi-plex the channel.

Mostly Spanish, some DV, and, at least in non-primetime hours, some
miscellaneous stuff such as reading for the blind. Several years ago,
there was a test of a commercial traffic information system that was
targeted to specific parts of the Bay Area, but that didn't last long.
