Best part was when Walter Sabo pointed how how small all the all 24
hour news channels ratings are whether they're the number one rated
channel or the 3rd.

Also, the best place to watch the shuttle lift-off this afternoon was
on C-SPAN it was the only place to see it with almost no screen clutter
and the only voice you heard was Mission Control.

Well, no, it wasn't the only place to see it that way. The place with
no screen clutter at all (and then full coverage of the replays from
the gazillion cameras at KSC) was NASA TV, which those of us with DirecTV,
Dish Network, or big dishes can view. I'm sure that some cable TV systems
carry it, too.

But yes, kudos to C-SPAN for carrying the launch, as well as the NASA
press conferences over the past few days.

Garondo Marondo!

As I watched the launch I wondered how many folks were watching
in anticipation of catastrophic failure.

Do people attend auto races to witness accidents?

If you want to respond, be honest about your reason for watching.

Anim8rFSK...
Because I've watched every shuttle launch that was televised at the
location I was when they went up.
