There was a post about this a few years ago.

A sound company I used to work for does a lot of gigs in Aspen.
During a show where he was an audience member, he went to the mixing
board and told the engineer how to do a "better" job of mixing. He
said something like, "You need to put more reverb in the woofers. I was
in a band in college, so I know what I'm talking about".

HA HA! I have his "chamaeleon church" record and it's the suckiest
of the Boston bands of the time! And I say that as someone who
likes the boston bands like puff, hamilton streetcar (boston?),
ultimate spinach, etc.
