"Class" is a modern day "Soap"

Remember the old TV show "Soap"? In its early years it was very funny
and creative. I think they ran into trouble with censors.

You know, I can't remember what it was, but something in the middle of
last night's episode also made me think of this as a comparison to
"Soap." Interesting.

I think it was when we learned her "very suuportive friend" never
bothered to submit the application for the private school in the first
place. They had portrayed him as being really nice to her.

Who knows how her husband will turn "out".

Unfortunately, in its last years it got weird with space aliens. They
let it drag on too long.

Anyway, the way the circumstances keep flipping in "Class" reminds me
of the story line flips and unexpected turns in "Soap". Also the fact
that the characters are not so innocent as they seem, and perfectly
ready to stab each other or someone else in the back.

I liked how the private school teacher simply held onto the application
to avoid his needy old girlfriend from bugging him. All along you
thought they were getting along really well.

I liked when Ritter neatly packed his ex's clothes togther and she
brought over two trash bags with his good suit wrapped around junk.

I really like his turnabout at the end.... and Kat topless was
worth watching the episode alone.

At the end of the 10/09/06 episode, who was the girl in bed when the
guy got home late from his date and told her he had to work a double
shift? Was she part of the class too or just a new twist?

A new twist, I'll give them credit, I wasn't expecting it. I dunno
how I feel about it.

I was liking them as the loveable goofball couple - a couple of
Phoebe's. Giving Richie a darker side ... I dunno.
