I'm sure, Native Americans would have been a much better group to
include, although technically they might be considered Asian to, but
the seperation is much greater.

At least they would be able to call the tribes White, Black,
Yellow and Red instead of the ridiculous names they're using.

I really really wish they'd snuck a Canadian or Jamaican in on the
'African American' team just so they wouldn't have been able to call it

Of course not...that was just a PC term coined in the USA...and in another
decade or so it will be gone. 'Black' is making a comeback. Meanwhile, the
USA seems to have almost competely taken the term 'America' for its own,
even though it belongs to two whole continents.

of the various Asian ethnicities ... and mixtures of all ...
I've voice my displeasure before at the insulting ignorant distribution
of tribes in this contest ..
So far that's not a problem enjoying the show ... but the recruitment
is already evident ... and annoying me ... they picked the stereotypes
they wanted ...
It's just a regular show now with a cast ...

ethnicity ... as well as Mexicans and Dominicans ... whereas the
different ethnicities of the white tribe are grouped as one race ???

"racial groups" are just an artificial social construct anyway. The
two "racial groups" in Rwanda who periodically try to exterminate one
another are indistinguishable to most outsiders.
On the other hand, The African continent as a whole is made up of at
least three physically distinct groups, which differ genetically from
one another as much as they do from any other tribe on the planet.
Here in the US, we'd call all of them "black".

Many native americans denie their heritage. sad. I almost got in a
fight with a young boy because he made fun of me using the term native
american. when i explained i was Cherokee, he quieted. to this day i
wish i would have "kicked his ass" not an eagle yet, i say.

How long ago was it that there was some other theory? Hasn't the 'current
theory' been around for generations now?

There have periodically been other theories put forth, such as South
Pacific Island hopping to get to the Americas. Or some crackpots
believe that Native Americans (Indians? First Nations?) were created
in situ.
