4 Stars. Mud brick, not even Mexican brick.

They sure are loose with their limited battery power. When those
flashlights run dry, that's it.

The bar has such a high priority for electricity? I can see needing it
for the satellite TV, but why for all the lights and music?

Has Heather never seen a nekkid boy before?

The radiated guy wasn't on a ventilator before, why does he suddenly
need CPR because the lights went out?

I notice they still haven't painted over the "Jericho" on the cop cars.
Now might be a good time to start ding that.

A lake with a boat dock. Hmm, that really narrows it down.

Why not take the bus to the lake to fetch 20 people. Bound to use less
gas than driving that many cars. And yes, the farmers around the area
should have diesel tanks, too.

Where is the filling station? It looks to be pretty far from town.

What, no preacher in this town? My dad grew up in a town with a
downtown one block long, and not even all the way on one side. It has
three gas stations and six churches for just more than 1000 people.

Is Mr. Hawkins related to the Mr. Hawkins in Carnivale? Both stories
take place in the same area.

I am starting to wonder it this show is worth the time.

2.5 I was reading the second to last published Harry Dresden novel, I
did remember to switch over; but I kept reading. Now that's not the
condemnation it might have been (The Dresden Novels are really pretty
good). But it's not a sterling recommendation either.

But only because of the intrigue surrounding Hawkins.

So far, the cast is bland and the writing and direction is uncertain.
I'm sure that it'll all work out, but right now, my excitement is
waning.
