As of now, have they (whoever they is) determined what stations will be
part of "CW" and what existing shows will be returning this fall?

lambertman...
CW is still signing up new affiliates every week (currently they're at
76% coverage of the USA), and noone will know their schedule until they
release it at the upfronts in mid-May. The only shows that are a 100%
certainty are "America's Next Top Model" and "WWE Smackdown!".

Anything else is speculation at this point.

I sense that they're looking for stronger rating numbers than what
traditionally WB and UPN carried in the past. Is this correct? Is it
realistic?

Patrick Joseph McNamara...
The CW is still in the process of adding stations. I think they had thought
that they would have the pick of the existing WB and UPN stations, but then
FOX introduced it's MyNetwork to prevent that. I doubt that MyNetwork will
ever have any decent programming though. This is the list I've been
watching, although it's a couple weeks old:

Here's a more recent list:

And seven more stations were just announced:

Interesting.

Boston's 38 (currently a UPN affiliate) is now out in the cold, since
56 is switching over (and Providence's 28 *is* on the list - didn't
know that). Guess 38's joining that group of "rejected" stations...

Steven L....
Obviously MyNetwork should pick up WSBK-38. Right now, MyNetwork hasn't
yet lined up any Boston station, so WSBK-38 is the obvious choice.

BTW, if you live in that area (as I do), and have cable, then you
probably noticed last year when WNDS-50 (Derry NH) relaunched itself as
"My TV," WZMY-50. (*NOT* to be confused with "MyNetwork.") Now they're
thinking of suing Murdoch because they claim they have a prior claim on
the title "My."

As for the shows, nothing will be certain until the announcement in May.

Sean Walsh...
I think a list of what markets would have CW stations was released a
couple weeks after CW was announced. Mostly the big cities (NYC,
Philly, LA) - in my area, Boston was listed but not Providence. Those
stations that aren't moving from WB/UPN to CW are either going back to
regular syndication (yay!) or - IIRC - joining a larger group of
syndicated stations.
