That Dwarf on the Alias Finale

They tell that dwarf's wife he's really a secret agent and she just
shrugs and says "oh well, that's alright then."

Please... it was the only episode I ever watched, but really-- what a
horrible show

I assume you mean Marshall, who's not a dwarf, but his wife was a higher up
with the Tech department of the CIA, thats how her and Marshall met. At one
point a couple of years ago they pretended that they all left the CSI,
Marshall went to work as a computer designer but the wife never really
believed him

for the CIA before, that's where he met her, so no big surprise to her.
What confused me is why she didn't know in the first place.

He has some kind of thyroid issue. His head and arms are way too big

When Marshall joined the black ops division of the CIA called APO they had to
fake him getting fired from the CIA. His wife didn't have the clearence to
know he was working in black ops so he had to lie to her and say he was
working for a video game company.
