Nashville Star - any fans out there?

I like Angela (the sister of the brother/sister competitors) best. How
about you?

I agree! She's got a great voice. This is one of my favorite shows
because the contestants write music, unlike a lot of the american idol
contestants. Some do...yes, but that's not an emphasis on the show
like it is on Nashville Star.

The other major difference is that the Nashville Star competitors for
the most part, have already been performing professionally.

I'm also interested in hearing Josh, the Iowa boy, again - couldn't
find myself agreeing with Anastasia about him having the "best voice."
I thought his song was a difficult one, and I just couldn't make an
assessment about his talent.

I enjoy it each week. Randy Owen seems quite spacy so far though,
although it's only been one episode.

I really like all of them except the girl in the blue dress, and the
final singer, in the long brown dress. I like almost all the guys -
thought Joshua was really good. I think the St. Romain (sp?) guy might
grow on me, but off-hand, he's my least favorite male who's still
there.

I agree with you about the girl in the blue dress. Very annoying voice
IMHO. The girl in the brown dress *could* be good. I think she does
have a unique sound, but probably not confident enough or consistent
enough to go much further. That St. Romain guy was obnoxious when he
was talking, though. I liked his voice, but he went on too much about
the Saints. He seemed like a confident dork to me.
