Gilmore Girls Finale (spoilers)

Based on what was reported by that tv guide guy, I was really expecting
something spectacular. What I got was something... lukewarm at best.

The Rory finale was pretty hum-drum. Nothing new here.

The Lorelai finale was pretty much a non-event. The fight with Luke was
very "made for tv" for me. She was irrational to expect him to just pick up

Of course, how does GiGi know what Lorelai is or is not wearing? Lorelai is
pretending to be asleep, which would only work if GiGi had not been in the
room.

and elope right there on the spot. And his not wanting to get married
because of April doesn't really make sense to me either. It's one of those
artificial made for tv obstacles. And no, I don't think Lorelai slept with
Christopher. Slept over, but not with him.

Last year's finale was so much better than this year's. In fact, this was
one of the worst GG finales I can recall. The Palladinos go out with a
whimper instead of a bang.

I'd have to agree. This was exceptionally lame by GG standards. Maybe it was
time for the Palladinos to go based on this stinker.
