CBS' "Class" takes online field trip

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - The studio that makes CBS'
struggling new comedy "The Class" will give viewers a rare
behind-the-scenes look at how the show is made.
Next week, Warner Bros. TV will webcast live the table read and the
run-through of an episode titled "The Class Springs a Leak," which is
slated to air February 19.
The table read is slated for 11 a.m. PST Monday, and the run-through --
a full-episode rehearsal -- is scheduled for 1 p.m. January 17. Both
While NBC has been considering running Friday night rehearsal sessions
of late-night sketch comedy series "Saturday Night Live" on the
Internet, "Class" is the first show to make its closed-door rehearsals
available online.
"Class," which airs Mondays at 8:30 p.m., revolves around eight
28-year-old former third-grade classmates. It is slated to run in
originals for the next couple of months, completing its first season
March 5.
