Oscar-winner Barbra Streisand was in total "Desperate Housewives" mode
as she showed up at the construction site of her new home in Los
Angeles Wednesday, sporting a frumpy -- everything.

Why is she constructing a new home in L.A.? Outgrew her Malibu manse
already, or is she planning to start a new family with Brolin?

She seems to have the maternity wardrobe already....

Let's hope the disheveled diva cleans up before her high-priced
concert tour in October.

Sure it's nice to see Babs looking classy, but Edith Piaf never looked
like much--and she did pretty well on talent. We're playing for her
gifts and music. If she doesn't look 21 anymore, doesn't bother me a

Now this is karama at work. All that money and she still looks like a
hag. Do ya think Jimmy is with her for her looks or money? No, maybe
