"Invasion" be renewed, when CBS's truly creepy and well-acted "Threshold"

Because Threshold was the most episodic and forumulaic of the three.
It was a bit like watching Sailor Moon MOTWs.

"Threshold" may have been formulaic but the way the MOTWs kept making
appearances in later episodes made me think that they were building up
to something.

I watched every ep of all 3..... like a dope. Threshold was no better than
the rest. The eps were so boring after the first 2. The show evolved into a
weekly search for survivors. The main storyline was hardly advanced, as in
say X-Files, which kept going back and forth between monsters and main arc.

In fact Threshold was a little worse than the rest if it hadn't have
been for Carla Gugino I wouldn't have stick with it at all.

But I have to disagree with the X-files comment. X-files non arc
episodes were much better than the arc episodes. I've always thought it
was the arc that ruined X-files.

I felt that Threshold never really lasted long enough to develop. The
episodes they did show appeared to be just setup for the series. And it's
the only one that didn't feel the need to throw in cute kids.

Probably because CBS has a lot of hits and Threshold just wasn't getting good
enough ratings. NBC is hurting and Surface was doing relatively good for them. I
don't se it returning though. Invasion is lasting because the network is
supporting it...for now anyways. I don't see it getting a 2nd season.
