Is it just me, or do the actors in these commericals look familar?
PastaLover...
|
Interesting responses, but not quite what I had in mind...
Doesn't the "PC guy" bear a likeness to old Bill Gates?
And the "Mac guy" a likeness to a young Steve Jobs?

I think the Mac guy is the actor who played Warren Cheswick on "Ed."
Barry Margolin...
|
And the PC guy appears occasionally on The Daily Show.
Middlebrow...

He's the fella what taught us that 82...trillion people watch the World Cup.
:-)
Barry Margolin...

As opposed to everyone else who is a Senior XX Correspondent, for
whatever value of XX they happen to need that day.

No, they've had a lot of "experts" or "specialist". He's their science /
tech expert. They have another younger guy who's their expert on youth
trends.

hhhmmmmm.... the correspondent's area of expertise seems to co-incide
with whatever correspondent is available and whatever topic is on the
table on the Daily Show. suspicious!

And the Mac guy makes me want to buy a PC.
Ken from Chicago...

But the Mac guy can hold hands with the PC guy AND the Camera gal.

The PC guy is the tech reporter, John Hodgman, from THE DAILY SHOW.
The other guy is from I think ED or another NBC show.

The virus commercial just seems like it's BEGGING hackers to wipe the
smug, "we don't get viruses smile off the Mac"

|
Of course, now that Mac works so well with PCs we'll have to start
protecting ourselves from the Windows viruses.

That it is. Pride goeth before ...

That's the entire point of the commercials. Use people that you know
so you will pay more attention to the commercial. Otherwise it would
be a fairly forgettable commercial.

Aaron Bergman...

One of them is the resident 'expert' on The Daily Show.
David...
|
I like him. He reminds me of Bob Newhart.
