Laddy...
That was one of the worst House episodes to date imo. This personal
storyline bs is starting to take over the show and needs to be stopped. A
little bit of this stuff goes a long way. At least if the "lawyer" is gone,

Chelsea Christenson...
I would have liked it more if it had picked a direction and moved along, but
it just flailed around. What did we learn? Stacy loves House, but she felt
she couldn't be happy with him long-term, but then while having trouble with
her husband for several weeks, she felt like maybe she could be happy with
him after all, which makes House Stacy's escape plan from a troubled
marriage, and Stacy is willing to hang onto a troubled relationship for a
couple of months before she gets fed up.

As for House, I never figured out where he was. Did he start out wanting
Stacy back, or did he just want to prove that he could get her back? Was he
trying to prove that she wouldn't stay with Mark either, so the Stacy/House
breakup was because Stacy can't stick out a relationship? Or was he trying
to break up her marriage because he was being all "if I can't be with her,
then nobody gets to be with her?

Laddy...
My opinion is that when House saw how devoted the hubby was to Stacy, he
became filled with guilt. Afterall House is a softy underneath the layers of

Or maybe saw *himself* [in her husband] there on that stairwell, and didn't
like being so *dependent* on what Stacy does or doesn't do?

Stan Brown...
I don't think so. I think whatsisname (Robert Sean Leonard) was spot
on: "You can't stand to be happy, so you're sabotaging yourself."

That's why I'm afraid we're not done with Stacy yet -- Houses's
renunciation wasn't a real one for his own good or hers or Mark's; it
was more of House's pathology which he will now, I fear, spin out for
weeks to come.

That's my greatest fear too. I also think Wilson nailed him [as close as
anyone could considering his behavior]. I really do hope this is over with
now, but I know it's too much to hope for. I want to see more of Cuddy and
Wilson, as someone else said, and less of House's romance.

bitterness.

Cuddy's back in the picture. :)

Jack Bauer's Spunky Sidekick, Ian J. Ball...
Look at it this way - we've finally gotten rid of Stacy (and Foreman as
"the boss"). Those developments alone make this episode worthy of cheer.

Also, I liked the fact that this was the first episode where House was
unambiguously *wrong* on a case (i.e. took the "easy" answer, and
discharged the patient too soon), and I'm pretty sure we're supposed to
realize that that was because he was distracted by the Stacy mess.

That said, I found the medical case to be pretty weak (and often
confusing).

But at least now we're done with Stacy, "Mr. Foreman, M.D." and
Cameron's AIDS test.

I expect next week will be back to 'formula' "House".
