The N Orders 2nd Season of South of Nowhere
Anthony Crupi
MTV Networks' teen channel, The N, has ordered a second season of its
original half-hour dramatic series, South of Nowhere, set to premiere
in October 2006.

Remember, Young David - you can *never* have too many teen soaps!
Ian (OTOH, I think The N's coming series about teen surfers may just be
taking the whole thing too far! (Didn't "California Dreams" already
cover than anyway?!?)...)
P.S. I'll be interested to see if Futon reports this - if there's an
area he's weak on, I think, it's the coverage of these really esoteric
original series on really down-the-dial cable channels...

Production of the 13 new episodes will begin in Los Angeles in late
spring.
The series, which chronicles the lives of a family that moves from
rural Ohio to L.A., was recently nominated for a GLAAD Media Award for
outstanding drama series.
The N/Noggin is currently available in 45.8 million households
nationwide.

I wonder when they'll start trumpeting numbers from their iTunes sales.

Noggin shows are on iTunes?!
[Ian checks...]
Yep, they are, though only... [drumroll] ..."South of Nowhere"!
Ian (What?! Like they've got somethin' against "Instant Star"?!!)
P.S. What's scarier? - NICK & DISNEY Channel shows now are on iTunes
too! Taylor!! Now you'll never have to be without "The Suite Life of
Zack & Cody" & "Zoey 101" again!!1! AIEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!11!
P.P.S. ABC Family's "Wildfire" (season #2 episodes; for season #1 they
want you to buy the whole season for $9.99) is now up there too. Didn't
even hear an announcement for that one...
