The best part about this show is watching the people suffer. They've lost

Last night's episode was a definite improvement over the previous 2 or 3
shows.

more than a million already. From the way they ended last night's episode,

Oh, I don't think the producer ever intended to give away that much
money, that was simply a ploy to get more viewers, they were given no
warning that the amount would go down if they weren't unanimous in their
first vote and they have zero say in how often they can vote so the show
runners can let it widdle down as far as they want.

it appears as if a winner may come next episode. Although there are only
three eligible candidates left and there's only two weeks left of the show
anyways, so the end is soon. But it looks as if the "winner" may wind up
getting only about $400 K, which isn't bad but it's a far cry from the
supposed $1.5 mil. Of course I still think they should have halved the money

Don't forget to basically cut that number in half for taxes.

again when the second one left. I also suspect there was a bonus for the
first one to leave which they didn't tell anyone about.

I'm not sure how it works when they get down to the final two, but I suspect
it may be a case where if they can't pick a unanimous candidate, then nobody
gets the money. So we could see everyone walk away empty handed.

Is anyone keeping track of how long each episode is without commercials?
This feels like one of the shortest shows on tv, and if you take out the
recaps and previews there's another 2 or 3 minutes.

I noticed that the guide was listing it's start time at two minutes after. I
suspect the full running time is only about 20 min.
