1960s kids show question

Jorabi...
I am trying to remember a show I watched as a child in the 60's.
It was on educational television (pre-PBS). It was on my local
station after Friendly Giant (a 15-minute show out of Canada).

Black and white. A woman with a guitar wearing large frilly
dresses sat on the floor with kids around her, singing songs.
I think it was also 15 minutes. There might have been more to
the show than that, but that's what sticks in my mind.

Any ideas?

Rob Jensen...
Sounds like either Romper Room or the Singing Nun to me.

But where were you at the time? Go back far enough, and there
was still a lot of local programming, maybe especially on "educational
tv" (after all, even today there are plenty of programs on PBS that
were local that somehow found a market elsewhere). So it just might
be a local show, and for anyone to know what it was, they'd have had
to be local to you too.

Jorabi...
I am in Albany/Schenectady/Troy NY, but I'm sure it wasn't locally
produced. At that time my local NET station could not produce
anything. It was on film, not tape. It could have been imported
from another local, though, but if that were the case, I assumed
someone else here might know about it (if it were also imported to
their area).
