fadeToblack...
yes! the first video on VOL 2 MTV2

Rubber Rodeo 'Anywhere With You'.

Okierazorbacker...
Wow. I actually have this on 12-inch single.

Okierazorbacker...
Length 3:55, I believe same as the single mix. It's a promo copy. I
used to be in radio in those days.

Another obscure fave from the '80s is Was (Not Was) "Knocked Down, Made
Small." Also there's Julian Cope's "World Shut Your Mouth." Great
tunes, adequate videos.

fadeToblack...
Yuppie Drone by The Pheremones. great song and video.

no one has that video. I got it via USA/Fox reruns of Night Flight.

Okierazorbacker...
Wow, Night Flight. I was a fan in its early days, before it became a
boring corporate clone of MTV or USA Network. They originally (early
to mid '80s) showed avant garde film shorts and music videos along with
"New Wave Theater" starring the late Peter Ivers, a real trip. Proof
positive that you could play rock'n'roll on national TV with no
discernible musical talent. Fun show, true punk.

fadeToblack...
yea "New Wave Theater" was a great show and LA based so very
different in flavor.
there are only a few NWT dvds in the trade circles but over 100
of Night Flight!
remember the strange 'church of bob' videos?

As for videos, I vote for a-ha "Take On Me" and Peter Gabriel
"Sledgehammer." For an obscure video, does anyone remember Will To
Power "Don't Anybody Move (This Is a Heist)"?

Dano...
A couple of my favorite vids..."Owner of a Lonely Heart" - Yes..."Bad to the
Bone" - Geo. Thorogood (cameos by Bo Diddly and Willie Mosconi).

Biting on Tinfoil...
Ah-Ha = Take On Me
