Mama's family now on DVD

You can get all 130 episodes from the pilot to the finale in a box set.
Oh rejoice all you Mama's family fans.

It is leaving TBS in August but will live forever on DVD. :)

10 DVD's of the whole series for $36.50 Yep, most likely bootlegs but
Circuit
City etc. will have the first season for around $20 starting in Sept.

It is not a great comedy series but the not worse either.

Yes, just watched it this morning before coming to work. Two great
episodes, Iola and
Mama were competing to be head of the church ladies group and the other
was
Naomi being harrased by her boss at work and mama to the rescue to put
him in his
place.

Not great TV perhaps but not "Charles in charge" either. :)

I don't suppose it includes the original Carol Burnett show skits it was
based on? To me, I'm afraid there can be only one Eunice.

There was always just one Eunice--Carol played the part during the first two
seasons on Mama's Family. In later years, Eunice was simply referred to,
with the exception of a flashback story with a teenage Eunice (portrayed by
Heather Kerr).
