Last time I checked, Britney Spears doesn't owe anyone any explanation
with regards as to how she parents her children. In fact, I would go so
far that--common-sense wise if not legally wise--she doesn't even owe
CPS any explanation for this. How someone parents their children is
absolutely no one else's business whatsoever.

Last time I checked it was ILLEGAL to drive with a baby on your lap -
not to mention on the PCH, in a vehicle with a front airbag. I don't
care who she is and how far she was going- that is child endagerment
and as far as I'm concerned CHILD ABUSE! If she was so "Scared" of the
papparazzi - then why didn't she have her big body guard looking out
for her. It would take less than 1 minute to turn around and put the
baby in the car seat an strap him in. If it was anyone else, they would
be arrested - and the child taken into protective custody. I'm sick of
"stars" getting away with everything.

While I agree that she was endandering her child, you are kidding yourself
if you think the police would actually take a child into protective custody
over something like this. At best, they would hand out a ticket (but only
if the person looks rich enough to pay it). At worst, they would simply
tell the driver not to do that anymore and send them on their way without
even giving them a written warning.

Stop defending her and get a life!
