Here we have an example of another psychological condition that could do
with some real study: the peculiar group of people who (unlike the vast
majority of humanity) don't just stop watching shows they don't like.
They seem to be personally offended by the fact that the show is airing
at all, regardless of whether they actually watch it or not.

It's the "dog in the manger" syndrome. They don't want it, and they
want to make sure no one else can have it either, never mind whether
those other people might enjoy it. What's the word I'm looking for? Oh
yeah, "asshole".

There's a doctoral thesis in there somewhere for the enterprising psych
grad student.

Why do you need a petition? The network this show is on, WB, is going
away. And this show isn't going to get picked up by The CW anyway.

For archive sake. :-D :-D :-D So years and years (...and years!) from
now when search the term "pepper dennis" in the Wayback Machine
and we can go to Rebecca's old folks home and mock her all over again as
she sits there feeble in her wheelchair pointing our long, crooked bony
finger at her as we do it.
