Not the point I was trying to make. While 'it takes 2 sides to make an
argument' in most cases, I think this one is pretty one-sided. Still, if
they are making out every week on-screen it will be much harder for them to
stay mad off-screen (Moonlighting's history not withstanding). Grey's
Anatomy is a soap opera about tourtured souls for viewer enjoyment...so the
theme is already there.

black character will emerge. (And Christina will date him)

Obveeus...
'Black History Month' is February, not January, right?

DonnaB shallotpeel...
Yes.

Regardless of if/when he is fired, all the episodes of the show that have
already been filmed will have to air before the episode in which he will
leave the show.

DonnaB shallotpeel...
Unless they did reshooting & editing & cut him out of shows that are now in
the can and/or in post-production.

Obveeus...
If they did that, costs would go up for no benefit other than 'hurting' the
viewers/characters. Not much point in doing that.

DonnaB shallotpeel...
It's unlikely that they would do it, but, if they did so, it would be a
sheer assumption that it would hurt either viewers or characters, much less
both. Right now, IMO, they're hurting themselves with viewers by tolerating
IW's continued misconduct.

If they make a decision that they're letting him go & announce that, they
pretty much 'lame duck' the character & whatever means they use to write him
off. The situation is rife with means to hurt someone/s and somethings.

puzzlr...
Imagine the outrage if a black man is fired from a show for making a slur,
when others are allowed to say they're sorry and keep their jobs. This
whole thing is being blown (hehehe) way out of proportion.

PorchMonkey4Life...
Just want blacks held to the same standard as everyone else. no more no
less. That is what equal rights is all about, right?

puzzlr...
Well, yeah, but that isn't always the case. In a perfect world, blah, blah,
blah.
