Have there been any cases before of major networks putting unaired
episodes (or aired ones, even) on the Web?

Last year FOX put up unaired episodes of a couple of reality shows.
The WB, UPN and Showtime has previewed shows online before they aired.
CBS put up episodes of "Threshold" after they already aired.

Jack Bauer's Spunky Sidekick, Ian J. Ball...

And, again, ABC put one unaired episode of "Night Stalker" up on iTunes.

That's been there all along. That's not new. Presumably it doesn't relate to
the new sub-headline,

Interestingly, KXAN's (Austin NBC) programming director e-mailed me
this afternoon about NBC putting up the shows on the Web page, but I
thought they were only talking about the synopses. I'm starting to
like KXAN.

What is "THE complete unaired episode" about? Others have mentioned
here that it was an eight-episode order.
102 apparently being the two-hour pilot, so episodes had been planned
to be shown on six days. (Oddly appropriate.) The recaps have at the
top
