3 Moons Over Milford

The show was pretty good. The breaking up of the moon is used for more
than just to highlight the wacky characters in this small town, which
is nice. If it really happened, I suspect there would be more doom and

weberm...

OK, so how did it happen?

It's a sitcom. Think NORTHERN EXPOSURE meets THUNDARR THE BARBARIAN or for
you kids, GILMORE GIRLS meets DEEP IMPACT.

gloom as people freak out globally, but for a comedy I didn't take
points off for that aspect. It's not supposed to be a serious
extrapolation of the issue, just the driver for why these folks are
behaving erratically.

One thing that struck me as odd was that I was getting a really strong
deja vu moment for the scene in the kitchen with the mom and two kids,
as if I'd seen it before. Not like I'd caught a glimpse of it in a
commercial at some point, but practically the whole thing. So I looked
the show up and it kind of looks like the pilot was filmed twice.
Anyone know if that's the case?
