One thing about having a gender-ambiguous name is that
you can later change your gender without changing your
name.

|
On a scale of 1-10 what did you give it?

7.8
While last week was random in most of the wrong ways, I found this one
was random in many of the right ways.
The one annoying thing was, indeed, Lynn McGill's sister, but mostly
because *we've seen all that before*, *several different times*.

Does that really matter? What is the point of monitoring my mother's
phone calls to my grandmother? Did that stop them?
|
But I liked most everything else.
I especially loved Martha's big time *SLAP* of Logan. (heh heh)

What exactly did your mother and grandmother _do_?
|
|
8. Points taken off for the Lynn/his sister/her boyfriend mess. Too
much like last year's thing with Alberta Watson and her daughter. Of
course, it may spin into something better than that, in which case I'll
regrade to a retroactive 9.5, because I basically liked the ep a lot. I
really forget everything else when a new 24 is on.

I think you guys are being way too generous. There was barely an original
idea exposed in this episode. I hate to rag on the writers so much because I
know doing the show has to be the toughest job in TV but, c'mon fellas, get
those prior seasons outta your heads.
I give it a 5.

I give it an 8. Mainly for the "call kim and bring her to CTU" line which
means the lovely Elisha Cuthbert will be back on the show soon...hopefully
next week.
I also kept thinking the russian girl could have been played by a well known
person. Michelle Trachtenberg sprung to mind immediatly, she looks young,
is a great actress, speaks russian and assumably does a good russian accent.
Plus I thought the girl they had looked a bit like her but not nearly as
attractive.
