When is HBO's "Rome" returning?

I thought it was great as well but I have some questions:

They moved through a lot of key events quite quickly. How fast are they
going to cover historical events? Before long Octavian will have to grow old
and become Emperer Augustus and before long they would need a full cast
change. How closely will they stick to historical events?

They could get a lot of mileage out of the period of Octavian's
conflict with Antony. If they just covered that period alone and quit
I'd be happy.

As to the cost, they split that with the BBC, for whom it was a huge
hit.

They could pull a "Lost" and have Season 2 last only a few days, with a
bazillion flashbacks/ dream sequences...
