HEX tonight is advertising season finale next week (which would skip a
LOT of episodes) and a marathon this weekend (which does NOT show up on
my DVR guide).

Anybody know what's going on?

Benjamin Elliott...
When BBC America announced they bought HEX, it was noted in one of the
reports that they had bought the first 9 episodes, with an option to buy the
rest later if desired. Next week's episode will be the 9th (10th if you were
to split the pilot into 2 parts). It will be the 4th episode of Series 2
from the UK run.

There will be 9 episodes left after this, so if BBC America picks them up,
they can have a "2nd season" of the same length as their first season. It
presumably fits the sensibilities of the programmers to have seasons of the
same length.

Anim8rFSK...
Aha. Except they did a season break already. But, yeah.

Mile High got similar treatment (10 episode series 1, 24 episode series 2).
They aired 15 or 16 episodes, took it off to bring back Footballer's Wive$,
aired another 4 or 5 episodes a month later, and are putting the show back
on the air in June.

Bad Girls got pulled with 3 episodes left in its 2nd series, and no
indication on their part if they'll air the episodes, much less series 3
through 8.

If HEX did well, they'll air the remaining episodes. If it didn't, they
won't. Either way, they'll never do anything as simple as telling the
viewers how the show did, or make any attempt to be clear on their
programming plans.

Anim8rFSK...
Thanks! I thought maybe they were gonna run the batch of remaining
episodes in this marathon I still can't find a mention of. Appreciate
the info. :)

Robin Miller...
I think that Thelma is just a fabulous character. Bucking the trend, I
rather liked Cassie as well. Ella's constant dark brooding doesn't do
much for me. And has Jo left the show also?

ravenlynne...
Thelma's the only one I like. Cassie was just unlikeable and Ella
strikes me as dumb as a post.
