Is anyone watching "Hustle" - on AMC at very strange times here in So.

I don't see how it could be on at strange times in Southern California
when it's on at reasonable times in Northern California. I usually watch
the 7:00 p.m. airing on DirecTV, but it's also carried at 10:00 on cable.

about the first airing each week, on Saturdays. Yes, the reruns
are aired overnight.

I checked to see if DVDs are available and the first two series are sold
through the BBC, only to UK and Europe. Wahhhhh- I want to see the

They are marketed to Europe (the UK is in Europe), but they aren't "only"
sold to Europeans. You are perfectly able to order them from an online
retailer like Amazon.co.uk and have them sent to you. That's what I do.

Of course, you'd need a player capable of playing Region 2 PAL-standard
DVDs, but that's a separate issue.

I'm addicted! Robert Vaughn and others make this a humorous and classy
series. At first the 'dialects' and poor sound put me off, but as I

watch it and become more and more accustomed, it's great.

Comparing it to "Heist" - I don't thing Heist is as compelling, simply
because it lacks the polish and wacky cast of Hustle.

I'm watching both shows - and comparing them isn't really fair, but they
are vaguely similar...

And more Robin Hood style grifters rather than really bad
guys. I am loving this show--great cast [as you say,
classy]...and so good to see Robert Vaughn again...I am
completely with this funny, classy crew, particularly after
catching up on all the marathon eps I'd recorded a few weeks
ago--I do hope it goes on forever (dunno if it was
previously broadcast in UK or is presently...seems brand new
tho.) Bravo for AMC channel!

season at this time. If you care to download the show I believe the
4th episode has already been made available. The benefit of watching
the downloaded episodes is that you get to see the unedited version.
AMC tends to edit episodes for time since they tend to run about 60
minutes.

Not so. AMC is only doing that during its Hustle mini-marathons of
reruns. New episodes run in 75-minute slots. (Feel free to bash AMC
about the 60-minute rerun slots, though.)
