The WB Rolls Out 'Blue Collar TV' for Summer Run
By Brian Ford Sullivan (TFC)
LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- "Blue Collar TV" is returning to
the WB.
The sketch-comedy series, which has been absent from the network's
schedule since October, will resume its second season on Wednesday,
May 31. Back-to-back installments (one new, one repeat) will fill the
8:00/7:00c hour beginning that night with repeats of "One Tree Hill"
following at 9:00/8:00c.
In total, at least nine episodes from the show's sophomore effort have
yet to air.
Also getting a summer run: "Pepper Dennis," which will continue to air
fresh episodes through Tuesday, July 4.

I'm dumbfounded by this.
I really though that UPN & The WB would run *no* original programming
this summer (outside of "Smackdown!") for obvious reasons.
Well, I have to say - Well done WBN! You didn't have to air anything new
in your current situation, but you did anyway. Bravo!
Ian (I wonder if this has anything to do with the fact that most(?) of
the new CWN affiliate are old WBN affiliates...)

Neither series is expected to be renewed when the CW (the merged
WB/UPN network) announces its inaugural schedule next Thursday.
