This question has been answered a million billion times already.
(sigh)
Because NBC bought the rights and had no place to put the show. USA
would have been the logical choice, but they didn't want it, so NBC
threw the wrestling onto their Sci-Fi Channel as a last resort.

And what makes them think that people will subscribe to the Sci-Fi Channel
when they are being made to pay for wrestling they don't want to watch?

It's only 1 hour out of 168 per week. I'd still pay, because the rest
of the programming is good.
