Cat Deely

For those of you who watch "So You Think You Can Dance", I really like
this year's host, Cat Deely. She interacts with the contests, the
audience and the judges really well. I hope she's here to stay for the
next season!

I assume she reads a teleprompter, but she does it *really* well. I'm
amazed at how much personality she brings to the table.

Russell Watson...

She's pretty in an accessible sort of way, and she's living proof that
you don't have to have big boobs to get on TV. Most girls with her
bust size woiuld get a boob job before even auditioning for a gig like
that.
I find her voice kind of annoying, though. And what is it with Brits
and the way they warp vowels? She pronounces last as "lahst", but
pronouces Las (as in Vegas) like "lass"! So you get something like
'Lahst week in Lass Vegas..."

That's not as bad as Schwarzeneggar's wandering S's in "The Jayne
Mansfield Story": "But Jaynes, we have to got to Palm Spring in an hour!"

She talks like Peter Sellers as the Pink Panther. If it weren't for
her speaking, I'd willingly watch the whole program, but as it is, I
can't take very much of it. She does relate well to the contestants.

When I first heard her, I didn't like her pronunciation either, but
she's grown on me. Frankly, I thought she was an Aussie at first.
Yipes! I don't know my accents.
