the scheduling pattern on the night from earlier in the season, airing
a repeat of "Grey's Anatomy" at 8 p.m.
Additionally, ABC has set Feb. 7 as a return date for the hit drama
"Lost." The first portion of the adventure series' third season is
slated to end Nov. 8, with new series "Day Break" schedule to air in
"Lost's" 9 p.m. Wednesday slot starting Nov. 15.
When it returns Feb. 7, "Lost" is scheduled to run with all-original
episodes through the end of the season.
In another scheduling move, ABC is bringing the legal drama "Boston
Legal" to its original 10 p.m. Sunday slot Nov. 26 for a special
airing of the opening of a two-part episode. The conclusion is slated
to run Nov. 28 in "Boston Legal's" regular 10 p.m. Tuesday slot.

Kinda scary that they're pulling Lost right in time for November
sweeps. Is ABC not confident about this show any more?

I guess you are one of the few people who hadn't heard about last
season's controversy over Lost scheduling:
Fans of Lost have constantly complained about how 23 episodes of Lost
are stretched to cover an entire season by interspersing it with reruns
in non-sweeps periods. ABC bowed to their wishes by creating a new
schedule for Lost for season 3, in which there will be *no reruns*. But
the price that is paid is a shorter season: Lost necessarily started
later this year (October) and a huge hiatus between the first and second
blocks of episodes. ABC has voluntarily agreed to miss the September
and November sweeps periods, a controversial experiment but a genuine
courtesy bow to the fans of the show.
