Donald Trump: "You never can judge a book by its cover"

On tonight's ep of The Apprentice, 3/6/06 - the second ep of season 5 - DT
blatantly said "You can never judge a book by its cover".

That hypocrite. Didn't he hand-pick the contestants for this season?
Aren't they all on the prettier/handsome end of the spectrum than the other
end? (I mean, that bell curve is very skewed) Wow! There gets to be one
overweight person, and naturally that person is a man. But not a woman, oh
no! And the women have to be stick thin and are all at a minimum 'pretty'.

That lesson may be the opposite of what you're thinking. In a way he's
trying to justify his picks by saying, "Sometimes you'll see people
dressed beautifully, look great, sharp, but they turned out to be
losers." I took that to mean that although this season's candidates
don't look as striking as the previous ones, they may turn out to be
winners.

Side note: Seems to me that either Mark Burnett is trying to screw up
Trumps show, or he no longer has any say in its production. The first
episode didn't strike me as grand and interesting as the previous one.
It just wasn't elegantly presented. Hope something interesting happens
along the way.
