Depressed about cancellation of shows

This is a really dark, black year for TV. Three of my favorite shows
are being cancelled:

"That 70's show"
"Yes, Dear"
(and to a lesser extent) "Malcolm in the middle"

Cancellations must have hit you hard.....

Well yeah, these shows have all been on 6 - 8 years, and you know the
characters become like family, you know what I mean? and now they're
going to be gone and I'm going to have to "wonder" if any decent shows
will come along to take thier place? And even if they do, we'll have to
build another relationship with those shows and their new cast of
characters, etc., only to have the networks pull the plug on them at
any time??!

People often say "oh well there will always be a comprable show to come
along and take it's place, but let me tell you, those assholes on the
"OC" were never as remotely interesting as the 90210 crowd..

People argue that Eric and Kelso leaving the show have made it
unsalvageable, but I disagree. The newer episodes are fresh and funny,
and I'd LOVE to see this current cast ease into the blissful 80's...
just change the name to "that 80's show"... yeah I know there was
another show called that but so what?

You know, I've never been a "huge" fan of "Malcolm", but it's always
good for a laugh, ESPECIALLY any show with Craig.. it's just become one
of those shows that you just come to count on "being there"...

Which leads me to the biggest tragedy of this television season: the
cancellation of "Yes Dear"... let's face it, great shows like this are
very few and far between. This show has SO much more life in it,
seriously the world won't be the same without this wonderful show.

I'm still holding out hope that there will be an 11th hour renewal of
"Yes Dear".
