Baywatch is Back
By Jim Benson
Litton Entertainment and FremantleMedia North America will begin
stripping reruns of Baywatch to stations starting in fall 2007.
All 109 hour-long episodes of the babes on the beach series will be
offered for a three-year term on a straight barter basis.
Episodes will be available to broadcasters for use on both analog and
digital tiers.

It ran all those years and only produced 109 episodes?

Don't forget that there was a year-long gap between the time it got
cancelled by NBC (and that season often doesn't even show up in
reruns!!) and the time it started airing in syndication.
The syndie deal also does not appear to include "Baywatch: Hawaii".
So I'm guessing this "package" only includes seasons #2-9.
Then again, maybe it's a typo - seasons #1-9 actually have *199*
episodes...
Yeah - I'm going with it's a typo...

according to imdb.com the series produced 241 episodes--so that leaves 132
episodes out of the package. I wonder what gives? I can maybe understand
the "Baywatch Hawaii" seasons being left out and possibly the NBC "pilot"
season, but that still doesn't add up to 132 episodes.

Hmm, epguides says that Pamela Anderson was a castmember from episode
46 to 155. Apparently these are the only episodes that count.

It's tough to do math when your flow of blood is heading elsewhere.

so that explains my poor math scores on the ACT! (in other areas, the SAT)
anyhoo.....it just seems there should have been more episodes. I guess I
shall have to find out.
