khalleron...
Well, I can't wait for Mickey's in-depth analysis, but I thought it was
quite a nice episode.

I think since Stacy's attempted seduction did not come off, to say the
least, that all "hope", if any ever existed, for a House/Stacy rematch
is long gone. Note with what swiftness he fled the room after the
phone call. And with what reluctance he entered it in the first place.

Hell of a kiss, though :)

Lots of familiar faces (Fred! Dharma's Mom!). Thought Michael O'Keefe
did a great job of emoting through the gibberish. And what a
Shakespearean-type tragedy - a man who would do *anything* for the
woman he loved except reveal his own weaknesses. The look on his face
at the end tore my heart out.

Tony Calguire...
The final resolution eluded me just a little bit... I hate it when five
or six of them narrate the solution at the same time!

What was actually wrong with the guy? What was the secret he was hiding
from his wife? What caused the aphasia (that is, if the aphasia was
caused by something different from "what was wrong with him")?

Marc Dashevsky...
Here's my understanding of the resolution. He had bipolar disorder.
He was so desperate to hide it from his wife that he went to some south
or central American country to have highly questionable brain surgery.
While there he contracted malaria which, in his case, eventually resulted
in the parasite reaching his brain, causing his neurological symptoms.

O'Keefe did do a nice job, but nothing has ever made me feel as old as
I felt while watching Danny Noonan's retirement party.

Ronnie...
Phoebe Cates is 42 years old.

khalleron...
Whose retirement party? I thought it was Dharma's Mom's retirement
party.

Anybody record it?

patty1...
I don't know who you guys are talking about, but the retirement party
at the beginning of last night's show was for Fletch's boss (Greta?),
not for Fletch himself.

khalleron...
That's what I thought, Patty, thanks. Fletch was giving a reminiscence
(did I spell that right?) about Greta (Mimi Kennedy, who played
Dharma's Mom on Dharma & Greg).

record.hunter...
I take that back. I didn't record it. Sorry.

record.hunter...
I did. E-mail me if you want the tape.

Loved the way they played around with the format this week. Having
House phone in his diagnosis was a hoot. I'm not really clear on why
Foreman ended up handling the case, though. Did I miss something?

Erin Woodbridge's Bestest Friend, Ian J. Ball...
He didn't - they all chipped in (even Cuddy) before the end. Foreman
just "acted" like he was "in charge" at the beginning.

All in all, a solid episode if not a stellar one.

Erin Woodbridge's Bestest Friend, Ian J. Ball...
I liked that it showed that the Kool Kidz were pretty much worthless
without House. (I esp. love how haggard they all looked at the end of
the episode! - they looked like they'd been through a war!!)

Ian (Looks like we'll get rid of Stacy next episode. I can't say I'm
sorry - maybe her absence will allow them to get in more Clinic
stories...)
